A Timely Recipe to Make You a Star at Those Christmas Pot Lucks!

If you are short on time, money, or baking skills, this recipe is for you!  It’s a little too easy and too good to be true.

You can create instant elegance by throwing together a few common grocery store ingredients.  This rich, moist chocolate cake makes a perfect contribution to any office party or dessert table and will make you look like an absolute genius in the kitchen.

Super Easy Decadent Chocolate Cake


  • 1 Devil’s Food Cake Mix
  • 1 small package instant chocolate pudding
  • 1 12 oz package chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ¾ cups sour cream


Preheat oven to 350.  Butter and flour a Bundt pan or facsimile (10 x 3 ¾” or 25 x 9.5 cm).  Beat the eggs for half a minute with mixer; add sour cream and blend thoroughly.  Add the cake and pudding mixes until everything is incorporated.  Stir in your chocolate chips.

Scrape the batter into your prepared pan and bake 50 to 55 minutes – until cake springs back when pressed lightly. (A toothpick will still emerge sticky because this is a very moist cake.)

Decadent and delicious, nobody needs to know how easy it was to make.
