At the Environment Centre, we believe that exciting learning comes from inspired teaching. Our skilled educators provide engaging and highly interactive environmental programming that is firmly rooted in the Ontario curriculum. By utilizing hands-on exploration, games, and storytelling, educators bring outdoor learning to life for students of all ages.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a class visit cost?

Regular Rate: $15 per student with a minimum charge of 20 students.

Can I book with another class?

Mondays:
The Environment Centre can accommodate one class only (30 student maximum).

Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays:
The Environment Centre can accommodate two classes per day visit (46 student maximum).

What does a typical visit to the Environment Centre look like?

Arrival Time: 9:30 AM (at the earliest)

Departime Time: 2:30 PM (at the latest)

9:30 AM:Class Arrival and Welcome
10:30 AM: Snack
10:45 AM: Program 1
12:10 PM: Lunch & Outdoor Free Play (Class Teacher Supervised)
12:50 PM: Program 2
2:15 PM: Gather & Tidy
2:30 PM: Class Departure
