If you are physically fit and like the outdoors, consider helping the Camp with your time, energy, and talents!
Gardens
We host vegetable and habitat gardens at our two sites and are seeking a few of volunteers who don’t mind getting their hands dirty!
We will provide an orientation, tools, and supervision – you can supply the sweat, knowledge, and time.
Your time commitment is negotiable. May and June are prime season to get everything in the ground and nurture the plants so, it would be helpful for volunteers to spend a couple of hours per week or every other week in the greenhouse and gardens.
Maintenance
You can imagine that trying to tend to two large facilities can be a challenge! Our Maintenance Department would welcome two to three individuals who can help with everything from lawn mowing to window repair! You will receive a thorough orientation, training, and supervision. Your time commitment is negotiable.
We would welcome expressions of interest from anyone who wants to help for either of these roles, including students wanting to complete their 40-hours of volunteer service.
We place great emphasis on health and working safely, appreciate those who believe in honouring commitments and who have a strong sense of responsibility.
