“Our Grade 6 students had an amazing experience at Camp Kawartha. They played, they learned, they explored. They were entertained, and inspired. They were challenged to do hard things in a beautiful, supportive and nurturing environment. From skiing, to snowshoeing to building fires and trying to survive as part of a food-web in the much loved Survival Game, they embraced every minute of their time at camp and will have stories to tell for the rest of their lives. They spent 3 days learning together as individuals and as a team and everything from their time in cabins to serving as “hoppers” at mealtime helped them to build confidence and community. On behalf of the team here at Roger Neilson we would like to extend our deepest gratitude for everyone who helped to make this experience possible for our students.” –Grade 6, Roger Neilson Public School
