Snowshoeing

Snowshoes are an amazing way to get outside and explore the winter woods! Essential for travelling in deep snow, traditional snowshoes have been used for thousands of years. After a brief introduction to their history and design, students are fitted with a pair of modern snowshoes of their own. We then set out to hike the local fields and forests and perhaps play a few snowshoe games. If you have a class of energetic students, then come snowshoe with us and enjoy a little fresh air and fun-filled exercise.
