Environment Centre Program

It’s a Bug’s Life

This we know, kids are fascinated by bugs! From centipedes to cicadas, our popular insect program capitalizes on students’ enthusiasm for invertebrates of all kinds.  In addition to key insect anatomy, students also learn how to forage like a bee and explore like an ant.  And of course, our local forest provides an excellent opportunity for students to catch, observe and release a variety of invertebrates.
