Sustainable Building: Tools for a Greener Tomorrow

Camp Kawartha’s Sustainable Building Program gives high school students a hands-on introduction to green design and climate solutions that matter.  In partnership with local school boards and GreenUP, this full-day experience combines science, design, and teamwork to explore real-world solutions to climate change. Students tour innovative sustainable buildings, tackle energy challenges, and design their own eco-friendly homes—all while learning how their choices can shape a healthier, more sustainable future. It’s experiential learning with purpose—empowering youth to build the skills and confidence to be tomorrow’s environmental leaders.

This program can be customized to fit Specialist High Skills Major requirements in construction.
