We begin by teaching students what traditional types of snow shoes were used by First Nation people in this area. We use our modern snowshoes to explore the trails of our 180 acres of forests and fields. This is a fun and invigorating way to enjoy the winter landscape and a great way to promote fresh air and exercise.
