Camp Kawartha offers your school exclusive use of our beautiful outdoor facilities, ensuring a focused and immersive experience. We also provide special partnership pricing for smaller schools—ideal for groups who may find meeting our minimum attendance challenging.
Delicious, Wholesome, and Locally-Sourced Meals
We believe that great learning starts with great food. At Camp Kawartha, our meals are nutritious, wholesome, and sourced locally as much as possible. With our “Thank a Farmer” initiative, students learn about the journey from farm to table and connect with local food providers, enhancing their understanding of sustainability.
Programs Designed for Maximum Engagement and Learning
Our outdoor education programs are designed to be fun, educational, and hands-on. Linked directly to the Ontario Curriculum and the UN Sustainable Development Goals, each program provides students with a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship and sustainability.
Dedicated Educators with a Passion for Outdoor Learning
Our team of university-educated, highly trained staff bring a wealth of expertise to every program. With a diverse range of talents, including natural history knowledge, storytelling, and team-building, our educators create an engaging and enriching outdoor classroom experience.
Small Class Sizes for Personalized Learning
We maintain a low instructor-to-student ratio (usually 1:15) to ensure that every student receives personalized attention, enabling deeper learning and engagement throughout the program.
