Water is as life giving as it is fragile. Over 70% of the earth’s surface is covered with water. And yet, the amount of fresh water available for humans to use is a mere 1%. In this hands-on program, students use an interactive watershed model to learn about the importance of watersheds in maintaining water quality. They also participate in a variety of investigative activities to assess water quality and the biodiversity of a local watershed.
