We are delighted to receive a grant from the Government of Canada, Canada Summer Jobs to hire 6 youth for our summer camp 2022 programs.
An Eco Gardener will tend and care for our organic gardens; two Nursing Assistants will look after the physical and mental wellbeing of our summer campers; a Maintenance Assistant will care for the grounds and facilities at our two sites, the Office Assistant will help with many administrative chores and our Environment Educator will bring more nature and environmental awareness to our camp.
Summer Jobs is a wonderful program that not only helps not-for-profit organizations like ours, but it also helps youth find meaningful employment while developing job related skills. It truly is a win-win-win program. We appreciate the support and so will the youth we employ!
