Farm Credit Canada (FCC) has donated an amazing $25,000.00 through their AgriSpirit Fund toward the development of our new Health Centre! Fund representatives were on site recently to deliver the cheque.
On hand for the presentation were, from FCC, Jeff Finlay and Kristy McNamara, as well as Warden J. Murray Jones and Camp Kawartha, Executive Director, Jacob Rodenburg.
The funds will be administered by Douro-Dummer Township. This is a requirement of AgriSpirit when supporting the works of a charity such as Camp Kawartha.
We are grateful to FCC for recognizing our vision for the development. An innovative net zero Health Centre will help us look after the health needs of students, campers and visitors. However, the space will also be an exemplar of how conscious acts of design and construction can be agents for good, and demonstrate how we can share space with nature, and both thrive.
