The annual Surf ‘n’ Turf Gala Dinner & Auction was hosted by Camp Kawartha’s Board of Directors on June 22nd.
For 30 years this event has treated guests to a fabulous meal, great entertainment, and raised funds to help kids from limited means to get to camp for the experience of a lifetime.
It was another successful year netting over $20,000.00 for the Subsidy/Sponsorship Fund and educational programming.
“We are gratified that the local and larger community have supported this event faithfully for more than 30 years.” stated Executive Director, Jacob Rodenburg. “Thousands of children have benefited from the goodwill of guests, auction donors, and the hard work of organizers year after year. I thank everyone who has attended through the years and given so gladly.”
