100 Women is a movement whose intent is to provide powerful impact to charities and not-for-profits by donating all of their proceeds to a single, selected charity.  Members of 100 Women Peterborough recently hosted their second of four yearly meetings and Camp Kawartha was voted as the charity of choice!   Thanks to Sue Ramey and her successful pitch, 100 Women donated $10,000 to our Subsidy Fund. The Fund is used to help families who access the magic of summer camp or the participate in our Outdoor Education programming.  Our theme of inclusion resonated with the group, and we are absolutely delighted.

“100 Women Peterborough is honoured to be able support an incredible charity in our community, Camp Kawartha, the recipient of our June meeting. Seeing our donation support families and children, who may not have been able to attend, through the Camp’s subsidy program is a joy and a wonderful way to give back to the community! We look forward to hearing about all the wonderful camp experiences that the children have. Thank you for sharing your great work with our group.”  Rose Terry, 100 Women Peterborough

On behalf of those children and youth who will benefit from this support, we thank 100 Women Peterborough for their generosity!
