A community consultation was held Thursday afternoon [April 14, 2016] at the Camp Kawartha Environment Centre on Pioneer Road for the new project Pathway to Stewardship, A Framework for Children and Youth, aimed at helping raise the next generation of environmentalists.
A total of 76 community leaders were interviewed and were asked how would they rate their interest in the environment.
The project backs research for parents, teachers, caretakers and community groups.
A Thursday night session was also held for the public.
