Hi everyone! My camp name is ‘Apollo’ and this is my second year working at Camp Kawartha! I’m looking forward to leading kid’s in wilderness activities! From my experience at camp I believe that it’s a great place to learn, challenge yourself and collaborate with friends through activities such as kayaking, archery and high ropes. Personally, I most enjoy being outdoors, physically active and canoeing which, are the main reasons why I like working at Camp Kawartha! I enjoy the wilderness environment because of the fresh air, it’s relaxing and nature is very beautiful. I have also completed my third year of chemical engineering at Queen’s University which teaches me to always consider the environmental impact of my design solutions in my projects.
