Thanks to the generosity of the RBC Foundation, Camp Kawartha Environment Centre offered the 2nd in its series of “free workshops” on sustainable living. Local and regional experts share practical steps to make businesses and homes a little greener. The topic for this evening was “Financing the Green Economy”, presented by Chris Ouellette, Manager of Environmental Solutions in RBC’s Corporate Environmental Affairs Group and LEED Accredited Professional. Chris discussed the different ways RBC is promoting growth of new “green” sectors such as clean technology, green buildings and renewable energy.
