Session CK101: 3-day/2-night Introduction to Overnight Camp
July 27 - July 29
Ages 8-10, co-ed.
For new and old campers alike, this 3-day program is intended to allow campers to get their “feet wet,” and not just in the water, but in activities and programs across camp. This short but intense experience will keep campers on their toes from the wake-up bell to camp-wide evening snack.
In this traditional overnight summer camp program campers will be exposed to a wide range of activities and begin building their skills. Each day will have a special theme and culminate in an exciting and dynamic evening program. Campers will make new friends in cabin and activity settings and cultivate relationships with our supportive and interactive staff. Campfires, climbing wall and high ropes, archery, sailing, canoeing, swimming, kayaking, windsurfing, arts & crafts, land sports, eco skills, and drama will all be the order of the day.
This program is for anyone from someone who has been a day camper at Kawartha and looking to try an overnight experience, to the new camper who has never been to camp, to the veteran camper who wants to join for a unique and new experience. There will be something fun and inspiring for everyone!
