We strive to nurture a sense of wonder, character and a deep respect for nature through wilderness living skills, naturalist studies, awareness, play, exploration and direct experiences of the outdoors.

Join this well-established community of home schoolers! We’ve been enjoying adventures at the Trent Wildlife Sanctuary, learning about survival skills, observing nature, making art, and each other’s’ company for over two years and are expanding this very successful program! Co-led by Craig Brant of Camp Kawartha and D’Arcy Hutton of Jumping Mouse Nature Education. Choose between attending Forest Fridays on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.

Location: Camp Kawartha Environment Centre, 2505 Pioneer Road, Peterborough
