Dr. Peter MacLoghlin MD FCPP(C)

Retired Family Physician

Dr. Peter MacLoghlin, now retired, was a respected family physician in Peterborough who treated patients at the Brookdale Family Clinic. During his career Peter was the Chief of Medical Staff at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre (1984 – 1986), served as the Peterborough County Medical Society President and was awarded the Glenn Sawyer Service Award from the Ontario Medical Association.

Peter has been a community supporter for over 35 years and has served in various capacities for a number of worthwhile causes which include: Boy Scouts of Canada leader, an active member of the Peterborough Rotary Club where he received the Rotarian of the Year award as well as the distinguished Paul Harris Fellow award. Peter enjoys being active in his community and is a member of the Peterborough Golf and Country Club where he plays golf, he curls at the Peterborough Curling Club and skis at the Kawartha Nordic Ski Club. He was also founder of the Cycling Dudes whereby a few of their cycling trips takes the group past Camp Kawartha!

Peter is proud to be involved on Camp Kawartha’s Cabinet and has been involved with the organization as a long-time director and Board President. Having attended a summer camp as a child, Peter understands the meaningful and lasting impact the experience has on children and youth.
